brother got pulled over..

Yea my mom was worried when he was late anyway.. they had him pulled over for a long time before he had a chance to call her and let her know he was ok and tell her what was going on. I still want to know why the other times, they never did all of this.. weird lol.

Technically he shoulda called the state?? when he did his dash swap to assign him a new vin #.
Its a hassle yea...he go away without a ticket though right?

He has the ticket, but it could be for if he doesn't straighten it out he has to pay. He didn't do the dash swap, previous owner did.. but I see what you mean, we gotta figure out what to do next lol

yea, i always got pulled over when i had my s10, it was the only vehicle in town with a crazy paint job so that automaticly made me a drug dealer in the cops eyes. I got pulled over when i backed out of my driveway, they said i was on the wrong side of the street, they searched me and my truck and then did a full road side on my truck and threated to tow it cause i have no rear side makers cause of the caddy tails. they told me not to drive it till it was fixed, so i was pretty much forced to sell it. Now i drive a full size and haven't been pulled over yet, i still see the cops sittin outside my place. Fuckin Cops

it is getting to be the end of the month and they still have to get there "quota" (sp)

Quota's are against the law. Cops write a certain number of tickets a month, so they can make themselves look good. And most of the time they can be bullshit tickets. If you think they violated your rights, take them to court. Otherwise realise that driving a car/truck that attracts attention may cause you to get questioned.

ya my Dad and my brother are both cops and they love to write tickets for anything they can on a vehicle. They are such dicks.

WOW That sucks about him getting pulled over,But it sounds like the cops were doing there job.

quotas are real chesapeake police have them so does currituck camden and pasquatank county whice is every where around me and im friends with sherrifs and city cops they all have told me they have to write a certain amount per month to prove they are actually out doing their job and not just parking and sleeping some where

Quotas are illegal ... period. If you know people who are required to write a certain amount of tickets then they need to contact their union or the local da.

Now as far as for your brother. The reason he might of not got nailed before, they might have not checked but this time they did. Depends on the officer, some do some dont ... obviously. You have to realize MOST are not going to be educated on swapping and replacing parts. Its like a baker knowing how to replace a kidney ... just doesnt work that way.So before everyone says fuck the police ... its a risk you take driving the shit we do. There were no rights violated. They should of had cause based on the vin's not matching.
