brother got pulled over..

my brother (17 years old) was driving his girlfriend home, he got pulled over. the officer said he pulled him over for running a stop sign, and even said he partially understands (its a new sign).. 2 more officers showed up within this hour of being pulled over. my brother even has my mom on the phone, etc.. asking to speak to the officer while they search his truck, him and his girlfriend. They straight out said this truck seems to be stolen. They made him get out and put his hands on the truck, they checked the VIN # and it didnt match because he has a new style nissan hardbody dash swap. He explained that, and they checked the engine (new engine also). So he asked, can you lift it so we can check for a VIN on the frame. My brother explained it has a new custom chassis.. so, he has a ticket filled out having nothing to do with the stop sign.. but now my brothers girlfriends parents think hes like a drug dealer lmao (because shes been with him while being pulled over 4 times now and this was all never brought up). He had his license/reg/insurance and was polite.. he is honestly telling me he felt as if he was being charged with murder. Obviously the truck's not stolen if my brother's giving them a detailed explanation of every custom mod done to it..

they must have been bored!!!I got pulled over on a 4 way with a divider I might add,for my exhaust(2 40's series flow masters that dumps under the bed)they said it was too loud,but since we wernt in town he would let it slide,then he gave me crap for not having any side mirrors!!

He's got new frame from firewall back, stock floored. I'm just not understanding how hes has tickets/been pulled over several times before this (speeding/tag lights/loud music) and they never checked for VIN # and searched him.

lol he got a good deal from a friend in the club we used to be in. i wanna tradional it for him one day, to the doooors.. we got alot of stuff to get done to it as it is though..

the same thing happened to me, except i was driving my truck when it was stock. i was in my work uniform (pizza hut, at the time) and they pulled me over for "running a red light," and they pulled me out of my truck and called for backup and didn't believe me that i wasn't drunk and that i wasn't doing drugs. they also searched my truck and they took every cd i owned out of it's case and searched behind it looking for drugs or something...worst of all it was on a monday night at 10:30 on my way home from closing up the store....oh yeah, i was 16 at the time too...i ended up with an 8 point ticket and a court date...gotta love to police
