compressors are for fools,look at me!! runnin shraeder(sp)valves and i got a pos 12v compressor from wal-mart for pumpin up tires, basketballs and sh!t takes like 5 min. to pump up the front bags and 5 more to pump up the airshocks out back

hey i know viair 450's are rated at 150psi but does any one run theirs higher? and if so how good has it been working for u ?
reason i ask is cause i thought all i would need is 150psi but id like to have a higher psi without having to buy another compressor.

Not to hijack the post but I have a viair 450 with a 5 gallon tank.will the AZ work with a 8 gallon? or should i just buy another 450 to run doubles on a 8 gallon.I want something that can fill it decent and not overwork it.Also I dont know how old my 450 is so I want to have a back up in case.Or should i stay with the 5 galon and get a AZ anyways i am posting this here since everyone has diffrent comments on both of them...

I got 2 450 Viairs been runnin them both on my daily driver at 175psi and have had no problems. Almost a year now that Ive had them.

i ran a 450 @ 150 for a year, and then last year i tried to up it to 160 and it took a crap on me.

I HAD A VIAIR 450 -- TOOK IT TO 300 PSI AD I HAD 2 THREE GALLON TANKS -- I RAN IT STRAIGHT ON/OFF SWITCH AND HAD A GAUGE READ 300 EACH TIME --- DID THAT FOR ABOUT A YEAR --- THEN IT FINALLY CRAPPED OUT ---- NOW I SAY F@CK COMPRESSORS -- I RUN STRAIGHT NITROGEN BEHIND THE SEAT OF MY STANDARD CAB TRUCK -----

How dangerous is it to have a nitrogen tank that close to you in a vehicle, I thought about mounting my tank like that but I was worried that it might be dangerous?
