now my buddy thinks that u cant paint mdf wood and make it look good. so I wanna prove it to him so post up people post up pics of some painted wood.

we glassed a sub box for him, thats why im askin this. ans thier is wood showin.

take a look at my trunk the circle peace infront of the subs is MDF the bottom peace that the amp sits in is MDF your friend is WRONG!!!! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2166989

you can paint anything,now what it looks like or how long it last will be the problem.

im just trying to convince him wrong. I know u can paint wood, but my word alone is not enough i guess.

i just got done painting some mdf for a convention, it came out looking real nice.

you can get some stuff called kilz from lowes or home depot,brush it on let it dry and sand it smooth,it doesn't let your paint soak in meaning you dont have to use as much paint to get it to cover, lookes glassed when your finished

put a good epoxy primer over it and it will seal it.

anything can look good when you paint it as long as you know wtf your doing and you spend some time at it. Is your friend a "know it all" cause they suck

use some poly primer wet snad it and paint it
as long as you primer it and smooth it first
then the wood wont suck in the paint
