that dude ALWAYS has his head up his ass!! He lives in the same city as i do and likes to run his mouth.
Daniel...if you need tires that bad...i think you need to sell your truck and get your shit together because your makin it sound like you cant afford them! I can get 18 inch low pro's (215/35/1 for 75-85 bucks a pop ALL DAY LONG. thats cheap.
Daniel, I am not stating this to be a dick, but there is probably a better way you could go about this. Do you have a proposal written up to send to Toyo? Secondly, a rendering is a small price to pay to have a QUALITY product to send into potential sponsors. I know because mine has gotten me a few sponsors including my newest: Dunlop Tires
Daniel, you have a good idea but to attack the people making jokes is a little silly and not making you look very mature. But none the less maybe I can help you out.
1.)You said you are trying to get sponsored some tires because you are blowing through tires in 6-8 months. That sounds like you might have a problem with your suspension because toe is what eats up tires more than camber. I would take a look at having your toe set and a particular ride height because this are right off of Toyo's website:
"Tires must be on sponsored vehicle for no less than 18 months. At the end of this period, Toyo reserves the right to request that product be returned to Toyo for study and testing. Toyo will incur all return costs for tires requested for this purpose."
"Replacement tires will only be provided in the unlikely event of a manufacturer defect which causes tire damage or failure. Replacement requests for worn out tires, tires that fail due to driver negligence, or theft will not be honored."
Which means you are going to run their tires, blow through them and then be obligated to buy and run their tires for the rest of your commitment.
If you are OK with that, then cool by all means good luck with your sponsorship attempt.
i agree with you 100% i know for a fact i have an issue there, a matter of fact im going to have that fixed by the end of the month, and Tim yes it will tuck 20's however i like the look of smaller tires and yes i know my 35's look like rubber bands but i want to go even smaller =D not really a fan of 20's tho... and yes i do have a very detailed proposal in its rough stage. it will be done when i have more time to work on it.
Funny, he didnt even build that Tacoma! that truck is from San Diego. It belonged to a friend of mine from Xtreme Lowez. And unless the truck looks different than what are in the profile, then its exactly the same as it was when when I installed a stepnotch/new chrome lower 4-link bars/upper and lower bagmounts in my driveway almost 2 years ago.
And it will not lay 20's, the suspension is not set up for it unless it was changed.
