1987 4runner onto 2x4 chassis?

I'm looking into this at the moment and I'm interested in a few thing's!

What chassis = single,space,dual?

Anyone with info on or has done this conversion please reply or hit me up!

i know someone who did it one time. If I remember correctly, he used an extended cab frame and made it work. I think your gonna have to mess with body mounts and stuff. you can always measure the wheel base of the 4runner and measure different trucks wheelbase.

If it were me i would just get a 2wd front clip and make a frame from the firewall back.

to do the swap you need a 2wd standard short bed wheel base. on my 95 i swaped all the body mounts, on teh older style i think it bolts right up to the 2wd frame cause it was based off the truck body, i could be wrong though, so dont quote me. but worst case you so some body mount swaping, no big deal, took me a part of a saturday to so it.
