IMO it's all about when you start. It's much easier and you have much more time when you're younger. For example, i saw my first ini when i was 12, fell in love, got my first mazda when i was 14 and by the time i was a sophamore in HS i had fully handmade all the brackets/links/mounts/suspension and bodydropped it 3/4" from the doors...oh yeah and that was with a toyota rear end and toyota spindles/hubs/brakes on 18's and big tires.I had NEVER actually looked at a bag job or a bodydrop in person, it was all from guys on here helping me out and looking at profiles. But i was too young(or at least, didn't have the means) to go to a show, if i didn't get into it till i was 25 or so, i'm sure i would buy an already built on and shown it too.Since i haven't done it that way, yeah i think it's lame that people so that, but like i just said, i'd probably do the same thing

i agree.....but on to dave,....i was at the shop when you, craig, brad finnished it up...(the body drop)as for the other work im not sure besides the paint...Sean b......MR. DONOUGHT......im not tryimg to say you took credit for anything.......but as it was said....Building a dream is much better then buying someone elses

Thats a load of crap.I run a fab shop and if I was rich I would buy what I wanted already done.If I could not find what I wanted I would have someone else build it for me.If I could not find anyone good enough only then I would build it myself. If the process of building a truck brings you some sort of satisfaction more power to you but your average person has a family and a job and can't fight with a truck for years without going mad. Also making money to buy a truck can be easier than trying to do something you know nothing about and the hard way is never the right way.I build my own stuff because I am poor and thats it.The end result is what I want with as little bs as possible. This built not bought crap seems to be coming from people that can't buy what they want.Think about it,if you were rich would you break out a welder and a grinder.Shit no you would at best find the baddest fabricator you could find and watch from the side lines drinking something exspensive with a fine ass girl under both your arms.If you were real smart though you would buy what you want already finished.

you got that right! I couldn't imagine building these trucks that start out as a dirty pile of parts a lot of times for pleasure. Only reason I am building mine is because I am too broke to pay someone...let alone buy shit for it.
