ita all for the love of it...i had a clean maxima that i bought stock and took it to a new level..but someone bought it from me and yea, will change it up some im sure, but whatever, he liked how it was, i mean was he gonna take a 95 stock and build it up or start where i ended? maybe people like how the style looks... and now i got my taco half done up, it was nice to start with, but im in a truck now and its never done, and if it was done and i left it as is , does that make me a less minitrucker than you? how many trucks that are 'done' would you love to have? its the people who buy em done and think they own you.........fuk em all....solo till the day. later

I say once you sell it, you shouldnt be butt hurt over anything the owner claims. You didnt love it enough to keep it, so let it go. When I sold my crewcab (StreetTrucks cover July 2005) I didnt really care if the new owner said he built it, or he bought it, or the tooth fairy left it under his pillow. All I cared about was I had my money.
WERD!
the reason trucks are sold is mostly not to "get out of this sport" but in fact it's to keep the passion growing by funding the next project... i know eventually (if i ever finish something ) that i'll sell one of my rides finished just to keep the other projects going... It's a must, we're not all loaded but we love what we do!

it really dosent matter what does matter is when you take other peoples credit if a shop built your truck give them the credit that truely pisses me off especially if its a fanous truck and you know more about the truck then the guy who actally owns it
thats tru even with the cover truck on this monts ssm Some Friends and I built that truck from the ground up and yet its been featured 3 or 4 times and yet has the truth about the truck been told every story on the truck is diff
thats my 2cents I'm out later
It's funny my gf is the 3rd owner of the tacoma she has now and the orignal owner accused us of buying a "finished" truck. What was finished to him was just a bag/bodydrop head start and a "ok" looking truck to roll until she starts making it her own
Figure 8k is what woulda been spent just to have a truck bagged and bodydropped.
She wanted it because it lays, and everything else she could have done to make it her own. she didnt wanna start with something 100% stock, but didnt wnat anything finsihed. Than this asshole starts talking shit that he had it finished and we're re-doing everything on it repainted redoing interior etc. Point is he shouldn't have sold it in the 1st place than bitched to the 3rd owner cuz she wants it to be a girls truck now haha.
I dont know my point just saying what someone considers "finished" could be considered 1/4 finished to someone else.
i hate seeing nice trucks turned crappy cause the new owner felt he had to change it. like i don't know what i would do if someone changed chads silverado he used to own i love it just the way it is, even if it does have a new owner. i almost wanted to buy a finished truck because i loved it so much the way it was. if i was gunna buy a finished truck and change it i might as well start from scratch cause its like erasing part of our scenes history.
hey dave if your boy robert would have told me who built it. then maybe your name would have been mentioned. instead he lied to me about the truck. that is why know ones name who had anything to do with the truck never got mentioned. i even told Garrick about you guys. I told him to get a hold of you guys to find out who built it. i never told anyone that i built the truck. or did anything to it except the thins i added. when Garrick wrote the article it sounds like that was what i was doing. when all i was doing was descriding the things that where done to the truck so he would have material for his article.
