I need a new v belt pully the one on my truck did not fit on the new cobra alternator.. any suggestions on which vehicle to get it off of?

The alt does not work on my 91 b2600i with A/C without shaving about 1/3rd inch off the front of my alternator mounting bracket. If i didn't, the belt for the alt would rub the A/C belt. I made the mistake of grinding part the smaller tab on the alt which resulted in it breaking while tensioning.

well, imma get an alt for sure this weekend and do this... anyone confirmed if the other alts listed will work as well ?

Kinetik makes some damn good shit man!.. what kinda stereo u runnin, cause id say although sick power cell its overkill unless really needed. but your average everyday system can run on a 130a ALT easily. (my fords is 110a i think) and i was runnin 1000w @ 1ohm daily for over a year and havent had an issue yet. if u get a 130a alt like this thread is showin us, one regular old (quality) battery or two should be good, but like i said, this all depends on what kind of stuff your runnin.

i want kinetik for looks and bragging rights lol and two 12`s,airride system and a engine is what im using the 2400 for maybe a smaller battery? but i only want one and its gotta be kinetik

For any o those mazda owners with the black with white and white with black wiring....

black with white goes to "a" which is 12v ....
the white with black goes to" I" 2-4v

and if it still aint working like mine was.....then hope u have a buddy like colonel sanders the 12v guru to come over and diagnose that the dash charge light is out which is the low voltage lead.... mine wouldnt ignite the alt to start charging process and after tireless checking everything for over a hour ... john said lets check the dash light and sure enough it being burnt out was the culprit ....new bulb and charging at 14.9 now... big thanks to the colonel "john " for the sat morn mazda work party to diagnose my issue.....alkso finished my brand new weber install....took the webers carb direct piece of junk off and used a racetep...weber 32/36 brand new and jetted ... no more sooting the drive way and actualy for once had to lean out a carb from stock setting to get it dialed...

I will build a new alt upper bracket to accomodate the 38 belt had to mod the crap out of the stock one to try and get it to work....its tight but i will use my ioron worker to punch out a new one this week and build a extra for the colonel...

this swap was simple and i got voltage for days my compressors are winging along never heard them turn at that rpm before....I did have to use a washer on the upper mount to bring the alt back out to match up with pulleys as I trimmed to much off tab for bottom mount....

i went ahead and made a new upper alt bracket too....withthe 38 belt i was using every inch i could muster out of the stock one...so over to the ironworker i went and ten minutes later i had a new upper bracket..
