just wondering. why would u wanna change from manual to auto. usually its the other way around. but anyways to answer your question cause actually im changing my auto to manual at the moment. so all u would need is a flexplate, auto tranny, shifter & cables and other then that i dont see what else u would need. computer should be the same. and im pretty sure just b2200 and b2000 tranny will fit

what do I do about the clutch safety switch thing. Will all that come out and allow the engine to start. I remember one of my friends had an auto s10 that still had the clutch you had to press to start.

the transmissions are different lengths, i had a mazda xcab that was bagged with a manuel trans, and with the lowering I needed a shorter driveshaft and found the trans from a automatic was a couple of inches shorter, fixed the problem of blowing out the rear seal on the tranny

i switched mine to a auto and i found that the cross member the trans mount the hole that the shifter comes through the raditor and the drive shaft are different but its not as bad as it sounds and well worth it in a bd truck im switching to a v8 real soon if you need any parts give me a yell
