Our lifestyle is prolly boring to people outside of the scene, they don't see the joy in just going to a show or a buddy's house, sittin around shootin the shit and drinkin a beer. I love that aspect of the scene, 9 out of 10 minitruckers are usually cool layed people and would help anyone at the drop of a hat. But anyways, I just don't see the scene getting too out of hand by being on TV.
That is not the side of the scene that will be exhibited by the media - most groups of people do the same. It's the wild parts of the shows and the stuff people dissapprove of that will be shown and exploited on tv. I say, mainstream media is bad.
Yea, you're prolly right bro.

TOO MUCH EXPOSURE IS DEFFINATELY A BAD THING. I MEAN ALL THE COMPANIES WOULD MAKE MORE MONEY WITH A FLOOD TO THE MARKET. BUT YOUR EVERYDAY MINITRUCKER WOULD BE SITTING AROUND GOING "WHY THE FUCK AM I DOING THIS AGAIN?" SINCE EVERYONE IN THEIR MOM WOULD WANT TO JOIN IT.
I THINK FOR OUR BENEFIT IN OUR LIFESTYLE, ITS TOO TIME CONSUMING AND TOO EXPENSIVE FOR EVERYONE TO JUMP IN ON THE BAND WAGON AND BE A "MINITRUCKER."
ONE THING IS FOR SURE, WE'RE ONLY GETTING STRONGER AND BIGGER. I SEE IT AS A GOOD THING, BUT AS PEOPLE WE'RE NOT THAT EXCITING TO THE OUTSIDE VIEWERS. LIKE TREY SAID WE LIKE TO GET DRUNK AND JUST HANGOUT AND GO TO SHOWS ON THE WEEKENDS. MAKE MOVIE ABOUT THAT, WOULDNT BE VERY EXCITED UNLESS THEY PUT PAUL WALKER AND A TERRIBLE PLOT LINE TO IT

That's what the Hells Angels said before the Discovery Channel made choppers and bike building the yuppie thing to do! Ha, ha! Has anyone picked up the new OCC toilet plunger at Wal-Mart?!?! How about the WCC iPod?!?! Point proven!

I just read an Artical in the SacBee today about customs and how illegal they realy are. Fortunaly it was aimed mostly at our local street racing problem and how building Tuner cars for the most part illegal and that the cops were gunning for them... but give the Mini scene a movie in the same context as the fast and the furious and we might end up in the papers with a list of reasons why our vehicals are illegal and that the cops are lookin for us.
I like knowing that i can drive my ride around and be low on the cops raidar.

werd the espn show was just givin a look onto what is goin on in the truck scene. mtv just wants a piece of the action to since there gay like that lol. a movie bout drinkin beer, draggin, shootin the shit. man soundsl ike my life story haha.fuck mainstream a glipse every now and again is fine but once mtv tries to pick up on it and milk it till its bone dry and every one who was a real mini trucker is pissed off and drives a hot rod or a stocker cuz they fucked it up for everyone.

mtv is the worst thing that could possibly happen to the scene. i have lived it for the last 10 years and i cant imagine what i would have to move to if i get some punk tellin me he just got his bolt on body drop from aim and his truck is way sweeter than mine. the problem with the media is that they only focus on the bad points and they will say that the scene is just an excuse to drink beer and be rowdy maybe they will even try to throw in street racing. its definately a bad move. just my $.02
