"Slammed Truck Special" on MTV2

ya goin mainstream is cool, just hope we dont get some cheesy ass "pimp my mini" show now... i can only imagine some of the shit they would do, sparkoo, lambos, etc...

I don't know, mainstream sounds like it could be bad. A ricer version of a bagged ride (a.k.a. hack jobs) are dangerous! We also do not need the added attention from law makers - soon it's going to be illegal to do any work on our trucks. I don't know what the benefits are for us getting attention / going mainstream - it really hasn't helped punk music.

Our lifestyle is prolly boring to people outside of the scene, they don't see the joy in just going to a show or a buddy's house, sittin around shootin the shit and drinkin a beer. I love that aspect of the scene, 9 out of 10 minitruckers are usually cool layed people and would help anyone at the drop of a hat. But anyways, I just don't see the scene getting too out of hand by being on TV.

more exposure in the 'popular media' = MORE LAWS.

That is not the side of the scene that will be exhibited by the media - most groups of people do the same. It's the wild parts of the shows and the stuff people dissapprove of that will be shown and exploited on tv. I say, mainstream media is bad.
