I was wondering, I have a 87 Mazda B2000. I'm using a 68 Mustang Tank. Question is our fuel pumps have a 3 wire system. Mustangs have a 2 wire system. Question is i was wondering if anyone knows how to get the two to work together? Any info?

the fuel pump is mounted on the block of a 68 Mustang, there is no in tank pump.

If your Mazda has an in tank pump ( look on the cylinder head behind and under the air cleaner, there will either be a mechanical pump or a block off plate, if you have a block off, you have an in tank low pressure pump) you will need to use an external low pressure pump.

That is only one wire however, the 2 wires on the mustang tank and two of the wires on the Mazda tank are fuel level senders. Ironically, ford senders and Mazda senders are similar in impedance and operation, so its just a matter of hooking the wires together.
