Right now I have a Lincoln sp175 but will be getting a Millermatic 251 w/ spool gun in the next couple weeks. I also have access to a Miller 185, Miller 250x, a Miller Syncorwave 350 LX, and a Lincoln Arc welder.

My Millermatic 185 is great on frames and just about everything but sheet metal. U guys are right, the 185 warps steel... I want a little 110 box for sheet metal, just with the hope that it welds cooler and warps less, but the Miller 185 gets the job done nicely for now.

i just bought a miller 175, and love it so far. So far it beats the heck out of my old lincoln 135, which up and died after a year of use.

I used to use a lincoln 135 and it worked fine but took a lot longer to weld than my new one. Now i have a 220v Lincoln 175 and its awesome.

the DVI goes only to 175amps, but has a better duty cycle than the miller 175, just has the capabilies of dual voltages. it would be nice to pick up a miller 210 for $200+ dollars less and get a miller 135 built into it.......
i have a miller 175, and it will do anything you would need to a passenger vehicle, personally unless you are welding all day long i wouldnt buy anything bigger than a 175, the larger welders like the 251 are a waste unless you are welding thick metal for a long freakin time.

I've got a Craftman solder gun. Works on frames and notches, but not sheet metal. Go figure?!?!
