All I have now is a Miller 135.. welded a few crossmembers/tube notches/link ends with a much larger welder at school in the past, but the rest of my work's been with the 135.. I love it though. I've welded with both Miller and Lincoln but I chose the Miller over the Lincoln because small things such as the metal parts rather than plastic, the fully adjustable knobs, and latching side door.. Eventually I want a Miller 175 or possibly a 210 for all my framework, then keep the 135 for bodywork/light jobs.

Miller 185. Have used it for several years on anything and everything that I have welded. Works great on heavier steel and works great on lighter gauge, but you have to be careful. Can cause alot of warping, but I guess that can happen with any welder.

Miller 135+ Yeah you can't forget the Plus+ Works Great on all aspects of vehichles just have to know how to weld. I love when people tell me it won't do a good enough job on frames. (MY ASS IT WON'T)

millermatic 185. i have used it for the last 5 years and never had a problem with it. welds up to 3/8" steel. in my opinion if you use heavier than 3/8 you are wasting your time. good luck
