i am hoping to find a dually rear end with in 200 miles of western ky. i am needing one for a new projest. and hopin that maybe one of my fellow minitruckers may know where one is at cheap. the reason i am posting in the mazda form is because that it wahat i need the rearend for.

iv got one came out of a chevy 1979. complete including wheels. for only 100 bucks. but im in colorado.

sounds sweet but to far away. but thanks for the reply. i was think of buildin a xtra cab reg. bed but thinkin of a xtra cab long bed dually. if i can find a rear i am goin to do it. any help is greatly appreciated.

i had a complete 79 crew cab but i scrapped it about a month ago. only saved the rear end. lmao. you win some and you lose some....

you dont need a dually rear end, you can buy dually simulators and get the same effect. I think I saw them in a jc whitney catalog once, but basically its just a wheel set for your stock rear end that allows dually tires.
The problem I see with using a rear dually rear end is the width. By the time you narrow it and the axles, and adapt the driveshaft, you are going to have 1200 dollars in a rear end.
If you want a dually rear that is minitruck width, find an old uhaul toyota or a toyota motor home, they had dual rear tires and would already be a suitable width for a mazda.

that was a option that i was lookiin at. but i was unable to find any such rear ends in my area. i have always wated one though

russ-d on the jc whitney site the only thing that i could find was wheel simulators for dually wheels. meaning that they are just wheel covers for already dual wheels. i want a true dually. if i am goin to do it i dont want to fake it i believe that i would catch a lot of shit for doin so.
heres what hes talkin about. the pic shows 8 lug, but if you go to year and make itll show a mazda on there.
