i've got kustomwerks arms, and yota 2" drop spindles, doin a stock floor. do i need anything else to lay on 20's? or does that cover it?
proper backspacing/offset,cutting and relocateing (of course).
iam putting 20's on mine because an ex friend told everyone in town i cldn't do it. i just have to make sure i get a nice rims looks wise. any suggestions? its coming slow with work but iam taking my time this go around, and theres still iam undecided on and some questions i have. also wayne you did more than inspire me i have got like tons of pics of you truck to help me out along the way.. iam going to have my rearend shorten anyone know who much i shld shorten it by? thanks lata josh
JOSH, the amount you narrow the rear end will depend on the offset and tire width.
for example,
if your available space between the bedsides is 60" across, and say...your rim and tire is 4" from the mounting pad to the outside of the rim/tire, your rear end will be 52".
easy way to figure this out is to figure our your available space ,then put the wheels within that space and measure from hub to hub.
i hope that made sense.
