A good solenoid, popper, and plugging in an in car heater through the night will make a difference.

thats the thing.. i bought the truck and for the release its hooked up to the stock lock and unlock so there is no aftermarket solenoid in it and no popper either.. so i need to find a way to make sure the door seals dont freeze if i can stop this.from happening im sure itll be fine!im thinkin though as long as i crank the heat up b4 i get out and use the remote start it should be ok

Heck with a popper! Use a choke cable hooked up to a washer welded to the handle release. It works everytime.

Seriously get the winter ride. I picked up a 92 escort with 60k miles on it for $500 last feb. The front end was wrecked but a trip to the juckyard fixed it right up. Now it is 2 tone. The hood and left fender are red and the rest is tan. That is a real 2 tone paint job.
