poping noise in front drivers side bag

well its wierd to say the least when I put the truck all the way down and then bring it up I get a loud poping noise. I thought it was the bag cup moving in the spring pocket... but the suicidedoor bag cups are definatley tight. When I got under the truck it look like the upper bellow is hesitating to fill like something is binding it up. they are firestone 2600's up front with the spring pocket all trimmed out.. I took off the torsion bar to elliminate that still same thing.

my friend has a S-10 and his front bag does the same and then my other friend had a S-10 Blazer and his bag did the same thing also so it seems to be a common problem both where also runnin firestone 2600's

hey guys my toy pops right side as well with firestone bags,but i dont think its the bag i think its the ball joint just makin a noise as it comes from a extreme angle of being layed out!! maybe???

Mine did the same, & what I came to conclusions is on the s-10 suspension that bag is in there on a rough angle! So when you hit it full of here, it leaves a air bubble in the bag & when the truck is moved the bag moves in the way to POP that bag & then you just simply put more air in it! Notice your air gauges & see if your gauge doesnt drop in pressure when it pops!

its the upper bellow foldin up around the plate, when the bag fills, like he said it 'hesitates' then pops down, its fine, ive had several trucks that do it, not just s10s.

well thanks I just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong...it never did it before, I did rub a hole in my last bags from the spring pocket not being cut out enough then ever since I replaced them its done it! oh well its just anoying!

i think the s10s have cups and bags right, if you have cups, you might want to try tighting up the upper cup bolt so that they dont move when you air up. my old truck did the same and i tightnd the fuck out of the upper bolt and it stoped.

yeah I tightened it till I pulled the bolt threw the weld then had to take it back out and reweld it! so no its tight and the cup isnt moving
