two things, why don't you winch it up on a trailer and unwinch it up at the dealership.
if that won't work why don't you pull the underdash and hotwire it. I don't believe that year s10 has any security, anti-theft or even a resistor in the key. just touch 12 volts to your starter wire, and if you want attach a twelve volt wire straight to your ignition so lights and all that good stuff will be on while driving.
i can get a key cut by vin number without any proof of anything
im me i will hook ya up with the keycode....
All you need is the vin to get a key cut, like trevor said
If its like any other GM pop the steering wheel off, and the lil dust plate looking deal if it has one, and there is a little Lock/key screw you take out and the ignition will slide right out.. pop in a new one from a parts store or one from a salvage place..or whatever and your good to go.. if you dont wana go that route a good locksmith can make a key pretty quick.. or get a couple toggel switches and a push button and wire it race car style..lol
call the lock out guy like panshs10 said thats what i did when my crazy x wife stole my keys and then tossed them out on the freeway, those bastards charge alot to make keys!
dude change the column 15 minutes and be done with it.u can get one at a junk yard for like 50 bucks
^^^^ that would work also!! good point jeff
man you guys are going through way to much trouble. If you have friends with S10s (as I do) try their keys. I have four friends whose keys unlock and start my s-10. There only like seven keys. after you find one go make a copy.
