Full-size lay frame 22s
I have a 93 chevy Silverado and I was wondering what it would take to make it lay frame. It is already bagged. Right now the tires are touching the inner wheel wells. What do I have to do to make it go lower? Do I need to cut the firewall? I know the wheel wells are going to need to be removed. Is there anything else I need to move. Is the break booster going to be in the way. Oh ya I have 265/35/22 tires. Thanks for any help.
Oh ya, it has 2 inch drop spindles in the front.
it will all u have to do is remove the inner fenders and either tub the fire wall or us a bfh and beat it in ....should lay after that
and you're going to have to cut your fenders inside skin up on these too.
otherwise, you won't lay. (88-9
u also need to notch the frame for your tie-rods and your control arms
what about the brake booster im i going to have to worry about that. Also I noticed that there are some hard and soft lines for the air conditioner will those be a problem or will they be pushed out of the way when the truck drops. Thanks again
yes you will have to get a smaller booster or like dude said get a bfh and beat on it some( not recomended at all) and you will have to tub the firewall to get it to lay and not rub anything.
where do i go about finding a smaller brake booster
you'll also possibly need to move the wiring harness on the driverside up a bit
I was wondering how do you move the wiring harness can you just move it up or is there more to it, also does anyone know about the hard lines like I talk about before. Anything else I should be watching out for, also moveing to the back am i going to have to raise up the gas tank. How do I go about doing that. Thanks for the help
