so whats to keep anybody from rubbing that spot and making the door open
there very very easy to install, all you need is a magnetic reed switch to activate the solenoid...you can put it anywhere behind the sheetmetal and activate it with a magnet.
robert I now feel gayer for u puttin this post up haha j/k
YOU CAN GET THOSE MAGNETIC SWITCHES AT RADIO SHACK AND THEY WORK PRETTY WELL
^^^ yeah, i don't know what that other guy is talking about they used to use magnets we still do they are sweet
On the show they said they work off the capacitance of your body, kind of like the lamps in your house you just touch to turn on. I figure that they come with a keychain that sends a RF signal to activate the handles when you are close to the car. Otherwise, someone could just hop in whenever they wanted. I agree, they did look like a bad shave job, they would of looked much better without the outline of the original handle.
it says on the site "Can be molded into the door and made completely invisible, and it's still touch sensitive."
use an alarm to deactivate the switch
by locking door
unlock to operate?
i got a magnet that opens my door...it took me like 20 min to hook everything up if that
