has anybody seen these new magic touch doors they have on the the magnum on overhaulin. you just touch were the handle was and it pops open pretty sick.

IT WAS COOL HOW THEY WORKED BUT THEY WERE HELLA UGLY,LOOKED LIKE A BAD SHAVE JOB.I THOUGHT THEY WERE MOLDING THEM IN UNTIL I SEEN IT PAINTED.

its probably a microswith that triggers a relay to trugger the solenoid when pressure is applied to the door.
in the 50s and 60s they used magnetic switches that do the same thing.

I gotta go with this person on this subject. I thought it was cool but its a little wierd because you can still see the outline of where the filler plate actually is. Like that of a bad shave job.
