Whats the best compressor for a daily driven truck

I am currently building a truck that I will be driving eveyday to college and work. I just dont know what the best compressor would be to use this much? I dont want to spend a lot of money but I want a good reliable compressor since I am driving this truck eveyday.

i gotta recomment viair. Been running 2 450's daily for over 2 years with no problems at all.

Chris, just run 2 480s in my opinion. I use 1 as a daily but 2 would be better

engine driven compressor......period!

engine drivin is best in my opinion. i run one now but also ran 2 380s viarir in the past. no problems with eathier

i think the edc is the best way to go man, a york will cost you about what 2 vi airs will cost, plus it pumps way harder, very reliable, quiet and its just a better situaton for daily.

ive been daily driving with a thomas 337 at college. I will soon be adding a edc tho, i need faster fill speed.

been driving ddaily with my viair 380 since last october, so thats about 1 year

with electric compressors, good rules of thumb is to not run them over the max pressure, mount unsealed compressors where moisture and water will get to it, run 1 compressor every 5 gallons of air, try to not run the compressor upside down but rather right side up or sideways because the heatsink is meant to be on top for a reason since heat rises, and run a check valve if compressor doesnt come with one.

these will somewhat give you a longer lasting compressor, no matter which compressor you get. as long as you follow the specs and run it at or under the specs, any compressor will last, considering it isnt defective.

i used the a/c (which is sanden)compressor in my mazda and it works great.

engine driven is the only way to go...too bad i don't have one yet. lol
