that is a alot of compressors and a lot of money, i would go edc, a york comlete kit is like 450, you cant beat the cfm it pushes and its very reliable, i wouldnt spend the money on 4 big comps, thats like 1200 bucks, buy an edc and a hooker with your left over cash. hit me up if you need any help deciding.

sd.com has the comp for 300 but there shipping it free and including a $25 ps, a water trap and a relay. thats gonna be hard to beat because you figure shipping would be like 10 ps is 25 and water trap and relay are 20 thats like paying 255 for that compressor shipped.

I can match that. That MAP pricing is a good thing in a way but then again it limits us who could actually sell them cheaper and save hobbiest money from doing so. But MAP pricing is (Mininium advertised pricing). I will say no more.

As much discussion as is going on about the air zenith, I am gonna put one in my shop project and try it out.

Their are a few problems with internet shopping:

1.)The customer ordering online is not a loyal customer. (generally speaking) He is looking for the lowest price, because if he wasn't 99% of them would drive to their closest accessory shop and buy a Viair from there, but the internet allows "cut throats" to drop prices and not make 20-40 pts. on every part. Hell you could make 10 pts on everything and still cover your overhead, make a little money, and get a sweet hook up when you need parts for yourself.

2.)Your right Robbie, alot of these businesses will not be here next year because the people who are running them are not business people, who have though out anything. They buy from people like suicidedoors.com, lowriderdepot.com, and Mac Springs and just resale for whatever they have to compete.

devin, you make a good point, but...

1. The only reason i have customers is because of my customer service, and loyalty to them, theres no reason for someone to buy from me wehn they can go get the same shit for the same price from jason at sucidedoors, but they dont, because they are comfortable buying from Rail It Customs, my point is is that 99% of my busines is from regular customers, mostly shops or individuals that constantly do work, i guess RIC is more of a supplier than a retailer but almost all of our business is form people we have been good to, helped out and taken care of, i get orders from people ive never spoken with all the time, but that is probnably because they were reffered by a loyal customer, also there arent to many "local accesory" shops everywhere, so the internet works well. i dont know how you could have no oeverhead paying rent for a shop space or parts storage facility. personally i operate from a custom paint shop and occupy the front room, i dont know if thats shop enough for you though, but it does require overhead

2. suicidedoors doesnt wholesale to anyone, period, your price is everyones price, no wholesaling from them at all, #1 because there ios no reason to, why make less money right. i hear what you mean, but i just wanted to voice for those of us that are doing it right, in a building and for the people, for me its all about the whole atmosphere, nothing i love more than unpacking parts and meeting my customes at shows, thats what makes it worth it man, because we all know the money isnt that great, unless your sd, them boys are the poo when it comes to metal, and robbie, nice valid point as well broseph,

Where did you find this? I couldn't find it on their site anywhere.

its in the specials section thats listed on the bar on the left side of the website. Jason has just built a really good rep so alot of people will go to him versus a smaller online shop that has just opened up.

i know id rather pay the MAP pricing and get it from someone that does good biz then get it from a cut throat. cause i know if i ever have a problem the person runnin a good biz will still be there. the cut throat guy will be gone next year. what ever happened to JP Kustoms or Krustys. Not sayin they was cut throats but they was low on prices. advertised heavy in the mags and now u dont see nothing from them. i rest my case.

Are you going with 4 compressors for the look of 4 compressors or for the air delivery that they will produce? If you need alot of air then go with the oasis compressor these guys are talking about.I personally dont like engine driven compressors due to the fact that they only produce air when the engine is running. With electric you can piss around with it when you are working on the truck in the garage etc. That oasis is powerful enough to run air tools with no tank so one of these at 799$ will kill 4 small compressors. What about chassis tech?I have a 3/4 hp compressor that does what it claims for fill times and it has 100 percent duty cycle.I never have problems but they require oiling and water trapping. No one I know has a faster compressor in my town

Actually dude, SD.com is wholesaling now. Look at companies like Hard Luck Customs and others who are selling SD stuff at the same exact price as SD, I don't think they are selling it for no gross profit. I bet SD probably gives them 15 or 20 back because they build most of the things they sell, so you know their GP has to be pretty high.

I do hear ya on your company, in fact I really impressed that you have a showroom someone can walk into it. It speaks higher than most of the "competition" and I do not mean to say that all net companies are bad, there is just more crap then there is good companies.

Dont know if anyone noticed, but SuicideDoors.com just went through the internet pricing "problem" with Viar. They were advertising the 380's for 164.95 (which is what most shops probably are pretty close to paying unless you are buying 50 or more at a time). EVERY other shop online listed the same comp. at 184.95-189.95 (which is what I sell it for) They now advertise it at $184.95 (which doesnt mean that he cant still SELL it at 164.95, he just cant advertise that he does) I also heard that Slam Specialties has been dealing with Slam Specialties about the same thing. They were having a sale on 2 plys for something like 59.00 (which is less or the same as MOST shops pay) This industry is changing for the better I think, the manufacturers are trying to help EVERYONE keep to a level playing field. Like some of you stated above, if you're customer service and repeat customers cant keep you in business, then you shouldnt be in business.
