Shelly you did a good job on this guys site Sorry for the inconvience and the time that was wasted today!
SORRY I TALKED BAD ABOUT YOUR MOM PRINGLE.BUT I WAS ALSO HERE UNDER ANOTHER S/N IN 2000..
I think all of the sites posted/mentioned in this thread look badass.. all took time either way and I like them personally.
i did notice that his site looks like other GD sites, but i don't care. the similarities aren't that notcieable anyway. shelly is really cool and does the designs you ask for. i'm a satisfied GD customer and will continue to be. rock on Shelly!

First and foremost, the customer has a say in what the final outcome of their site will be, if not then why do business with a company who wont let you use some of your own ideas? Secondly, bashing GD is fucking gay, haters, haters, haters, but go figure this is SSM. As far as the comment that Shelly is a new member to SSM, her and Brandt both were long time members and anyone who has been on this site for a while knows that. Shes not new, they just choose not to come here, which is their option. Im getting sick and tired of seeing people here, bash others over mistakes that they could have help prevent. Im not gonna play politics, i know Jeff personally, and i know both owners of GD on a personal level. Im calling it from how i see it. If there was a problem with he first occurance (THE FLIERS THAT WERE MENTIONED) why use them again? END OF RANT
:cents: There I threw in my 2 cents
I do agree with rick in customers choose in the end, It wouldnt make sense for a service to cost money to you only to not get what you want. That's how it is plain and simple.. In MY OPINION. Shelly and anyone else who has been attacked in this post.. dont sweat it at all, this all blows over and you keep doing what you're good at

If laydoutatthepark.com wanted differentiation, to stand out, to not blend in, why did they pick green and yellow as their theme colors? colors/theme.
Because when I sat down and designed them, I thought, green and yellow would be cool. It's what I felt like doing that day. Jeffrey liked them when he saw them, done. Next year, I'll invent a color, so nobody else can use it.
Also, Brandt & Shelley were very helpful to Jeffrey last year. They're good at what they do. A lot of good points have been made in this thread. Hopefully everyone learns a thing or two, and moves on.
BTW, the MetalWerx site looks good. Looks like a place I could frequent.
That is why I gave my site the kindergardener look. Other that the front page that was designed by my wife. NO HATING.
