My truck has had a bit of a miss lately and I noticed a throttle response decrease. I decided Id mess with the TPS so I unplugged it and it ran better, idle went up which I thought was weird.
Is this a sign of the TPS going bad? Also the mis went away with the TPS unplugged

Get an OBD scanner and it will tell you if it is going bad.
