I wasn't trying to imply that it would be cheaper, just offering it as an alternative to the Weber solution. Thanx for the info too Russ, I was always curios if they existed south of the border. We usually get a junk truck to do the conversion with so we have all the pieces. The trucks are getting old now so it usually doesn't take a ton of effort to procure a donor, in our area at least.By thre way, what did you think of the one that you had Russ in comparrison to a carbed truck? This conversion may, however, work out cheaper for us Canadians due to currency exchange and the cost of getting a Weber kit over the border.
performance was unchanged as far as I could tell, it did however start right up even in the coldest weather and idled perfectly every single time. Fuel injection is superior for fuel economy too, no doubt.
