My 89 Mazda went into storage 3 years ago at which time I had 243,875 miles on the engine that has never been broken into and does not burn or leak one drop of oil. The items that were replaced thru its 16 years of dedicated service include the starter, fuel pump and water pump. It has the factory alternator which still puts well over 12 volts to both batteries.

Mazda engines were not meant to be raced so if you take care of it,it will take care of you in return.

Congratulations!!
