What Kind of welder do you use?

I just started welding at the local comminity college. It's a three month course covering Tig,Mig,flux and oxygen/acetylene. Pretty much all welding processes. I've been Tig welding now for two weeks and think I'm getting the hang of it. Just wanted to know what type of welder's you guys use for body work, frame and suspension...etc. I plan on buying one nest month and just need some help..thanks.

Lincoln 135 on my frame and body... holding up nicely so far... I would get a Miller 175 for a good "all around" welder if i were you.

I use a miller 210

I personally have a Miller 175 220 volt nice for overall everything body frame etc..at work we have the model above that the miller 220?or something like that with the digital readings and also the Miller SYNCROWAVE 250 big bad machine i love it ac/dc so i can weld metal to stainelss to alluminum.

How about hobart?

I just recently sold my Millermatic 250x cause I thought I could ease my way out of Minitruckin'. God, what an idiot I am...Anyhow, it was the best damn welder I've ever laid my hands on. Can weld damn near anything you throw at it and then some. 1/2 in a single pass...thats what I'M talking about!

i've been using a hobart 180, got it from weldmark and it was 750 shipped with cart cover and 80cf tank, damn good deal if you ask me
