Bagged S10 - Owner wants extra ground clearance

I bagged a '98 S10 for this guy who just wanted air for getting in and out of bad parking lots etc. He doesn't want to drag or even lay out at all. With the coil springs out, the front end sits too low for his liking. I was looking for some input on what the best thing would be here... I was planning on making a 2-3" spacer for his upper bag bracket but then I'd need REALLY long bolts to replace the bolts on his SuicideDoors.com upper bracket. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to bag an S10 without bringing it down an inch from the ground in the front?

put the stock spindles in!

you could put spacers between the frame and the lower control arm

or tell him to get the crap out!

or just put the stock spindles on

what about an oversized bump stop.

-stock spindles
-bigger cups
-bigger bags that do not deflate as much (not sure)
-spacers like you were talking about

tell him he just needs to drag it! why does it matter if it lays out or not. he has a switch and can decide if he wants to or not. kinda weird why you would bag a truck and not want it to lay out.

You should tell the owner to drag the truck just once. that'll change his mind!

just use taller cups, and dont use a bolt, ive installed a grip of bags on the front of coilspring trucks and never used a bolt.

only trouble is if you are installing bags just to lift the truck up its gonna ride like ass unless the truck is lifted up, cause if you are bottomin out on the bag or bottomin out on a bumpstop, its going to ride like crap, so the bags will need to max out about 3 or so " lower than what he wants to ride at.

Ok, thanks for all the ideas... DUH on the drop spindles... good call, didn't even think about that but I bet these are drop spindles rather than stock... my first time doing an S10 so I didn't exactly know what to look for but the springs DID look like they were probably the factory ones...

As far as draggin, yeah, I wanted to lay it out bad but this guy is truly "bought not built" and he hasn't ever done any of his own work on the truck... when he dropped it off with me he actually commented on "those crazy guys who scrape up their trucks on the pavement" and all I could really say was "i drag my truck... they take quite a beating if they're built right" of course I had to drag past him a couple of nights later
