anyway,(this is just for referance for the front)assuming you've got spindles and stock control arms and a 8.5 rim on 225/35/20 a 6.75 will tuck and lay your truck out but will also lightly rub your fender and cook it(this also depends on how many shims you've got on your upper control arms) i always suggest at least 7" backspaceing. 7.5 is even better.
that 1/4 " from 6.75 and 7 is alot when your this tight on space.
as i said this is for referance, you can make up the differance at the control arms (shortening ) but that's another can of worms.
and don't forget if you say you've got 3" of clearance when your raised at 120 with stock spindles your going to lose 2" of that with drop spindles.
what the!!! i don't think you realize this is a mazda were talkin' about.

And Russ what is the tire size of my 18s since you are the "self proclaimed Mazda guru?"
hmm, not sure, but they have to be a smidge smaller than my 10w30 lubed rectum because they made a popping noise on the way out.
Hey are you coming down for my grad bbq in Dec? I havent decided if I will walk yet, but the bbq will be the same day as the grad ceremony, the 16th. That goes for eveyone, anyone local is welcome to come. The real highlight of the evening though will be that I will spend a good part of time self proclaiming myself the "guru of man sex".

it depends on what you are putting the wheels on.

How does it matter what vehicle I'm putting the wheels on? A tire is the same height on your sister's big wheel as it would be on the space shuttle.
All I'm looking for is the shortest overall height of a 20 inch tire and the corresponding tire size.

as russ said, it's a 225/30/20 which is 25.3 - 25.5"
bfg = $261
nankang = $250
perelli = $323 (which is whati'm going with)
general exclaim = $182
