ok i have a question, if the frame is below the axle wont the axle bump the frame if you hit a big bump? im confused here as i have never seen that done before. does it make the ride better or worse?
Ever rode in a truck that wasn't notched big enough, or notched at all? And felt the frame bottom out on the axle...Yes mine may bottom out (or top out lol) at times when I have alot of lift, but its no different than having the frame over the axle and hitting a large bump. As for the ride, it should be pretty rough b/c it'll be laid out 99% of the time. lolmike

oh ok, i understand, yah i had a truck bagged on 22s a 89 sierra and it wasnt notched enough and it did that, so basically by putting the frame under the axle it gives you more rooom in the cab? sounds like a good idea guy

My buddy Scott has a Mazda with the frame ran under the axle. Big point of it for him is that he can have it body dropped and still not actually drag body because his frame will hit before his body. Funky looking set up though that makes you go, hmmmm. Check out his profile: Sprkndawg
I believe.
