I have RHD on my Mazda and I used a Tacoma rack, it fits the Mazda spindles and works great with a GM power steering pump.
for the dude that says you can flip a GM power steering pump upside down, you cant do that to an older than early 90s one or the fluid will run out of the tank.

im guessing you probably replied to my email too... (i wont know till the morning) thanks mike!
i own suicide solution, the purple right hand drive s10 blazer. when i built the rhd back in 2000 we used a saturn rack. in the '01 cavaler we did, we used a t-bird rack. in the 87 cutlas that is in the shop right now we are going to use a cavaler rack. on a front steer car use a rear steer rack and vicea versea to do the caverions
the main important thing to remember when using a different steering system than what came with your ride is the width of the rack or steering drag links and tie rod ends where the knuckles are.
the knuckles on a rack are in the accordoin boot section and of course the ones on box type steering are little mini balljoints. these must be in the correct place in relation to the control arm bushings to allow for proper suspension movement.
by that I mean that if you were to look at the truck from the front looking back at ground level, you see the upper control arm bushing and then down below is the lower control arm bushing, draw a line from the upper down to the lower. the steering knuckles must fall in that line of the toe in or out will change from layed out to raised up. so you can have it raised and its toed in and then lay it out and the toe is out. very hard to drive this way, and very dangerous as a truck with this condition will be real squirrely.
get a rack that has very close measurements to the original one. a Taco rack is very close to Mazda and the ends fit the Mazda spindles.
how about when doing it on a full size 67-72 c-10. I have already shaved the firewall and moved everything over steering column, pedals etc. but now im to the actual lil dilema of the whole steering part but havent found a reversed steer rack that will fit my spindles.
Mustang II rack, most people who make aftermarket racks can set you up with one that has the proper width for the steering and the proper ends for your spindles. look in Street Rodder magazine.
