garage injures (my bad guys not thinking)

i head welders burn i had ti about 2 months ago and went to doctor and he gave me some kind of yellow dye and i swear he was a lifesaver

I was heating up some steel under my truck for drive shaft clearance with a heat gun and a hammer bannging away I hit my sholder with the claw part of the hammer that hurt like a mofo then to add insult to injuries I rolled my right fore arm over the red hot heat gun have a half dollar sized scar from that one. Was grinding down some welds on my 4 link end s and wasnt paying attention and set my jeans and sneakes on fire took me about 15 minutes to find where the smell was coming from. thank god for Mountain dew saved my azz plenty of times.

This happened to my dad. Our family runs a junk yard. He was using a torch to cut something off a car from standing under it. Then a red hot bolt fell and landed inside his boot and onto the top side of his foot by his ankle (the boot wasnt too tight, guess they became untied or whatever). He was hoppin around for a while before anyone knew what the hell was going on with him. he couldnt even take his boot off either that would of made it worse and pushing the bolt further into it. left one of the nastiest burns ive seen but probably the weirdest garage injury i know of.

I think the most unique injury i had was when i was shaven my tailgate handle. I burnt my foot, my nee, my leg and my nuts by the same hot peace of metal that poped off, and yes it hurt realy bad lol.

I CUT OFF THE TIP OF MY THUMB ONE TIME, GOOD STUFF.

bad case of flash burn is the worse ive got woke up at like 3 am & it felt like my eyes were full of sand & hot sauce couldnt open my eyes for about 6 1/2 hrs never wanna do that again

i have had lots of burns and cuts but worst was when i stabbed myself in the hand with a little pocket knife trying to cut the plastic peice that holds gas charged shocks down cut all the tendens in my hand and had to have surgery

i think someone needs to open up a topic avout weldrs flash... whats the best ways to majke it over...

haha yae i cant stand to weld w/ gloves sometimes. ive got a couple cherry marks on top ofmy left foot right now. countless scars and cuts on the hands..ive had a cherry red botl fall in my shoe my foot got otu as fast as i could.

While we all have these scars and had to endure the pain, reading this stuff is kind of funny.

on that note I have cherry scars all over my hands ( and I wear gloves). But my worst is this... I'm kinda big, big boned, a little heavy, hell I'm fat, so I am cutting this rear spring eye off and the grinder with a cutoff wheel kicks back. The focker kicked back and grabbed my right titty and then proceeded down to my stomach before I could push it away. went down intot he skin about 1/2-5/8". Bled like a focker. Thing was, if my wife found out about it I would not have been able to finish my four link by my deadline so I snuck in the house and cleaned the wounds and then used 25 bandaids to "stitch" them back together. Got out in the garage and went back to work. Blood all over the garage and my truck. wife didn't find out till a few days later. 2 years ago and still have the big ole scars.
