grinder wheel caught, bounced, shattered, dropped the grinder which grabbed my pant leg, cut my leg, swung the grinder around and hit my knee cap and dropped me to the ground. small cut but heres a pic.

Umm, I had an 86 Coup DeVille fall on my leg once. I was doing the front brakes and the damn caliper wouldn't come off the disc so I was prying on it and it came off the jack stand and the bitch landed on my shin. I still have a dent in my leg from it. and dont weld in flip flops and shorts. I had a piece of slag in the top of my foot for like 6 months.

In our shop we have a saying "If you aint bleeding, you aint working hard enough", and over the years, ive pretty much found that to be true. It comes with working on any vehicle.

busted knuckles all the time from breaking ubolts lookse and the wrench slips so i punch the driveway sideways.. i finished welding a the top side of a 8 piece notch one time, and wasnt paying attention.. went to stand up and used the notch as something to support myself, my hand fried and blistered in my palm alot of other burns, gas sprayed in my eyes. on my friends hardbody i worked on last, a 18v dewalt drill with a full charged battery, the drill bit got caught and it spun the drill.. pinched my hand to a sharp part of the bed and my finger was pressed to the trigger still.. it smashed/cut into my hand. all kinda of smaller stuff too.. everyone be careful!!

I ripped my thumbnail off trying working on my wheeltubs. I was trying to break a tack weld that i had made. well the weld broke as i wanted, but unfortunately when it did i lost a fingernail in the process. i had a shirt caught fire when i was using the grinder to cut off an exhaust pipe. i was under the vehicle at the time. i thought i was being safe cause i was wearing: gloves, eye and ear protection. i didnt take in account that i was wearing a flammable shirt. i scooted out from under my truck as fast as i could to pull off my BUTTON DOWN shirt asap. i laughed after the fire was put out. and i have scars around my ankles where stuff falls down in my shoes and burns the crap out of them.
