im on 20s with a big tire but i still have more travel when im laied out so i can lay a 22, i just notched the lower arms and fliped the uppers from side to side( so they r upside down) or you can judt pie cut the uppers for the ball joint angle u will just loose lift but since your not body droped in to the rocker you should be ok. i just am limited on my lift
its needs more weight in the front look at my profile its laying it had a motor and trans in it when i had it
the chevy spindles will only lay 20' the isuzu 2' drop spindles lay 22 the arms need to be modified for the chevy spindle to work right or z the frame call m at 225 315 1276 i ll give you all the info you need
Whoever you have standing on the frame is not as heavy as the engine. Channel the frame threw your cab
ok cool, as far as the weight goes, i didnt really think it would push those ball joints that much further, but i was wrong(happens alot). i am going to adjust my body mounts so i can cut off the pinch welds but that really has nothing to do with my main subject.
Thanks for all the info, helped me alot.
1 more thing, does anyone know if they make a big brake kit for the p'up, just curious.
I've also toyed with going from the 20's to 22's. The clearance on the hood and going over the bed rails would be the main problem.
YOU CAN DO IT IF YOU RUN A 25 SERIES TIRE AND REDO YOUR STEERING TO LAY, WE WERE GONNA ON MINE BUT YOU CANT DRIVE IT WITH 25 SERIES TIRES CUZ YOU HIT A BUMP AND YOULL BEND A WHEEL
