fluids...

Ok...I want to replace the automatic tranny fluid & rear axle fluid in my 91 Toyota truck. Does anybody know what I need to replace it with...I want to use Royal Purple cause Ive been told it works great! Thanks Donny

Royal Purple is expensive.

I think its 80-15 gear oil for the axle. Look in the manual if you have one for the Auto fluid. There should be a specific type that it can take. Or someone here with an Auto might know.

i think the diff fluid is just 80-90 wt. gear oil...fill it up till it comes out. basically like you would for the manual trannys..same concept. (at least this is how it is on my 88)
