NW MINI TRUCK COUNCIL ?

i agree with Billy Bob. it needs to be a place for information nothing else. and if there are officers no two people from the same club on the council board at one time. other than that let me know when the meeting is and will there be beer there?

it is about that time for this to come around again i guess. hopefully it will work better this time. no prez, just officers or reps or something. the thing i remember the most about the nw minitruck council is all the arguing.i could live without that part.

I am not in a club anymore but I am down to help!!

If I were to get involved with this again, it would be on an informational basis style council only. We could start a website that has info about clubs, addresses for sending out flyers for shows (password protected for those who join), ideas on how to show, a show schedule for clubs using an approved judging sheet, etc. Make it all about NW minitrucking, not the BS like before. I took the blame for all the rules getting out of control last time, but in actuality it's everyone bitching that made to old handbook have 10 more pages of "what is considered a mod?" crap. Not going there again. I'd be willing to get a site up (for free), and get this going, but this time I need everyone's support no matter what. I don't want to be the one getting hammered by pissed off people at shows about stupid rules I don't believe in. I'm not a scape goat... I'm a mini trucker! A mini trucker that has seen this sport die since I shut the NWMTC down 5 years ago. I KILLED MINI TRUCKING IN THE NW! Ha, ha! Time to bring it back from the dead... can't believe i didn't see this thread "TODD FOR PRESIDENT 2008" LMAO anyway this didn't happen to come from my post about the best of the northwest show on s10forum did it? cause i know we started talking about it. now being as though i am a "car guy" and everything i haven't been around the seen long enough to know about the council what its for, or what its about, however i have been around long enough to see that todd is just a kick ass minitrucker that wants to make a difference and do cool shit, thats awesome i would love to see this happen and get some more shows going here in the nw

Yes, this started on the S10 Forum, and I got a phone call about it. If we can get a mini truck based truck and car council going again, I'd be up for it - without all the rules. I ran the NWMTC for 7 years, and loved the first 5 of 'em. The plan was for other people to see a need, and want it back, not for me to just start it again and scare people into it. That time has come. If we are going to resurrect a council, I think everyone agrees that it has to show the ability to be around for a long time. There are only a handful of people as well as clubs that I know that have that. These are the people we need to get to promote it. If we build it, the younger groups will want to get involved, and love the fact that they have a say in something affecting them. That you don't need to be in this for years before you have a say. I'm just wondering how I'm getting suckered into doing this again!!!!
