what exactly do i need, i just want both wheels to spin when im doin a burnout, but i want the least side effects drivin around normal on the roads. and where do i get it
get an ARB air locker....they are pricey but you can lock that shit at the flick of a switch. i just got another rear end that im gonna weld the spider gears together in and get some more 4 link tabs and put them on it so i can just swap it out when i want to mess around. sounds like alot of work but its not.
theres a LSD diff available on later model toyota pick ups isnt there? put one of them in perhaps.
i kno guys that have welded it up to make it a perminant locker, i dont want to do it im scared it will just spin me out on a wet tight corner. ive never drive a locked diff so i dont know for sure

haha welding the spider gears... reminds me of my mud truck days !! there are a bunch of regular lockers as well.. like lockrite i think... but while you have the air setup you might as well use the air locker... (your tires are gona do some squeealing around coorners if you weld those spider gears)
I have an LSD on my Tundra... all of the TRD edition model Tundras come standard with them.

damn quit rubbin it in haha
You could always go to a Rx-7 IRS... Mine has LSD... its gona take some fab work but youll end up with 4 wheel NC and LSD...same lug pattern as your toyota, I got my whole IRS for $350. and got the driveline moddifed for $150.
you need an eaton or auburn locker.
get a dif from a Supra i believe its a MkII that used LSD and a 7.5" rear.
Just got a Detroit TrueTrac geared LSD installed in my 2001 tacoma. I believe Eaton made the factory lsds and they are still available through Eaton. You need to know what size rear end you have before looking for them.
