valve cover interchange?

will the valve covers from the older 22re(say around 84) with the rounded front interchange with one from the newer boxier 22re(say around a 94)? The old ones just look sexier to me.

Yes, they will. A 20R cover will fit as well, and they look the same as the ones you speak of. I have a 22R cover on my motor.
