I just had my rotors tru'd and pads replaced about a week ago. They are starting to squeal really loud whenever I come to a stop and are making a ticking noise whenever I apply light pressure on the brake pedal. I know the the squeeking is normal, but what can cause the loud ticking noise? I was thinking that something might be loose.

all your problems are related to cheap pads all aftermarket pads are made harder to give you that lifetime warranty causing the squeal if you knock down the edges of the pad with grinder will help with breakin also not having brake shims with the right kind of lubrcating paste will also do thatthe tick can be caused by the pads not being the same actual size as a oem pad so the aftermarket pad shifts when the brakes are applied
