so today i cut out my bump stops and crap to get ready for baggin the front of my truck, i slapped the spindle back on with my escalades, and pushed it up with the jack, looks nice but still needs another 1.5 inch to lay frame.. i've got a balljoint spacer, but haven't trimmed out the lower control arm cause didn't think i needed too, plus i can't even get the bitch off. What do i need to do to lay frame, do i need to cut my fenders out too. I could still spin the wheel all jacked up, please help quick cause i have to work 35 hours this weekend and want to get more done tonight if i can.. Thanks a bunch

on my old nissan and my friends current one, we had to cut out some of the center of the lower control arm where it hits the frame. this was with 16s and 40 series tires. we also gusseted the sides of the control arms to regain some strength. i know for a fact that the lower arm hits the frame where it mounts. just jack the truck up w/o the tire and look where it hits.

after you bag the front save up for the tubular arms from Kustom werks they kick some serious butt the lowers are converted into A arm style by elemenating the strut rods and use a metal sleave where the stock bushings would go. they're a bit of a pain to install but well worth the $535 and take only 2 weeks for delivery. Not bashing Barnyard customs at all or Mike himself I know he got slammed with a butt load of orders and is playing catch up but he does have a little better of price so if your not in a hurry to get the arms go with Barnyard if you want them quick go with kustom works. pics are in my profile
