Hittin 130 with that, impressive, not really. I went down to the car audio store i get my stuff at and they have a Rav4 i sat in today, one 12 Inch Megaloud subwoofer in a g-force ported box, two amps, two batteries, and this thing hit 148.3 and took first place in the Single Subwoofer competition a few weeks back. Yup, 148db out of ONE 12...The place is called Stealth Audio in Massachusettes...website is www.HighSPL.com.....

you have to keep in mind that they mounted that sub basically free air so it isnt going to hit anywhere near what it should they did it more for looks then sound quality, that thing would ratlle your balls if it was set up properly
dude 300 watts of bass will rattle your balls i don't even think you could breath in 12,000 watts peak. prity sure youd come out scrambled

the meter they used in that car is a piece of poo, it was no where near an accurate reading, but for some reason they pretended it was. It's like the guys on there don't know any better.
The sad thing is that you can see the cars in the background and tell they know better.

damn 12,000 watts. they should give you something for free to collect all the blood coming out of your ears after listening to these speakers.

they were only putting like 6000watts to it. had like 8 amps on it i think. but yea that free air, using the trunk as a box idea was just for show. and that meter was deffinately a gimmick as well.
