everyone has different ideas of whats right. Mine is layed out on 22s with 265/35/22s with only flipped ball joints, upper control arm brackets and notched out firewall. And it difinitly lays hard. Thanks Mark.

if any of you want to try the beltech spindles for yourself i will sell them to you for $200 a set but im telling you they make it harder to lay on then flipping the lowers, flipping the tierod ends and spacing up the uppers. Also, if you think the spindles will do away with the camber probs think again! When flipping the lowers we used to us 97 chev lowers but we have since found chrysler Cordoba ball joints will fit the factory hole in the lower control arm with very little work and are designed to point up. NEVER reuse the stock ball joint!

Damn, just spent $240 last week on the spindles

How can they not help with camber compared to lca's?

We use the stock lower arms and stock uppers... They dont work because the spindle is longer between the upper and lower ball joints and guess what that does, it puts the upper ball joint already higher then it was with the stock spindle. That means once the truck is lowered any more the camber really starts kicking in like a mofo. We even raised the upper arm up like normal and it still sucked so we took them off and just used the stock spindle, which works great.

damn, i'm going to be pissed then... I think they'll still do fine for the way I drive, but it sucks that they would design it to affect the upper control arm geometry. guess i'll find out how it works this week

dont feel too bad thats what the McGAUGHYS spindles do to along with the beltech easy install for the nbs, and the djm for the nbs and the new dodge ram spindles although it isnt as big of a deal on the nbs chevs...

^^^ yeah, i don't even have them yet, but it's pretty obvious when i checked the position of the lca that 2" would require at least an 18" rim, but possibly 20's still... oh well, just have to buy some used 20's for a spare and bad weather driving!

ok well about the spindles. i'm laying frame on 265/35/22's with nothing else done except notching for the tie rods, i will take some pics and post them up. my camber is better with the spindles then with out (after a alignment of course) you will have to move the battery, brain and the 3 plugs on the driver side it took me 20 min a side.

ok, I'm thinking about sending the spindles back and just doing the flip.... Mark, can you give me the year or part number on the balls you use? How does it work without moving the upper control arm up any? just normal camber or does it get worse from flipping the balls?
