I have never bought from you but I have been following all this here and at S10forum.com. From your last statement mike, it looks as though you have been taking orders and spending that money elsewhere. Is that right ? Were those welders, shop rent, bail money, etc. all paid from the money you got from taking orders on parts you cant deliver ? And is the reason people haven't gotten refunds because their is no money for refunds ? If you are taking orders now, to pay for materials to build parts ordered 4 months ago, you have got a big problem. I wish you well

hey fucktard... how do you think a business works? i mean fucking come on... His work is QUALITY, His Welds are SOLID, His Products DOES what it claims to do, but it takes a while to create due to him being swamped by so many people wanting a great product?... To everyone bitching about the time, Have you ever waited @ an expensive restaraunt on a friday evening when you could have gone down the street and gotten mcd's right away, yea, hyprocrites... and people wonder why i shut my custom shop down, no matter how much a person bust his ass to do everything he can for the customer it's never fucking enough...

Why not let Mike work for a whole week without any of us e-mailing him, calling him or bugging him on SSM. Nothing, no calls, nothing. He wont have to answer the phone, or e-mail anyone back. Let him work on OUR parts. I have 3 sets of arms on order with him ( going on 8 weeks after he told me 4 weeks ) for VEHICLES IN THE SHOP! Maybe if no one bothered him for a week, he could actually get some work done. Mike, just do your thing from here on out for the next week. Dont reply, dont read, dont do anything but work on arms. I know it sucks to work longer than you have to, but maybe you need to come in earlier and leave a little later. Anyone here that owns a shop knows that you cant always work only the hours that are posted on your door. i'm here at 7:30am and dont leave until 7 or 8pm. I was working on labor day. Sometimes its just what you gotta do to make the customer happy. 8 to 6 is nothing really (not trying to bash your work ethic) You'll never catch up working "normal" hours.

I've been waiting for over 15 weeks now for my s-10 arms I have been told they were shipped and still nothing. I recieved a tracking number but they were never given to ups. It would be nice to see my truck driving before the end of the year

Also, like fatnuts69 said, maybe you need to put off doing "one-offs" and prototypes for n other vehicles and customers until you are caught up. There is no point spending a couple of hours a day designing/building new arms if cant even fulfill the orders that you have pending. Its only going to get you further into the hole once you start taking orders for those. You already make a great product, with more applications than the other guys, I think you need to hang back a little and take care of what is in front of you right now. If someone wants something special tell the 6-8 months. If they cant wait then oh well. Your current line up is your bread and butter, take care of those first. Worry about the "custom and Prototype" stuff later. Make design changes later as well. Not when you have an umpteen number of orders already waiting for weeks or months. Then off them up for sale at discounted rate for customers with the old design, or trade/swap for customers that havent installed theres yet. Just dont keep them waiting longer than they have to.

maybe I need to keep doing what Im doing and build all of one thing then move to the next, its seems to be working. Im shipping more parts out every week than I get orders for, which wasnt true a couple months ago. it just makes it where some people get their parts faster than others untill we get thru every style parts we make.
then we will have extra sets on the shelf and everyone wil be happy.
MP48, thats the dumbest post Ive seen on here in quite a while. when you buy something I dont run out to the steel place and buy the steel and then make the parts. I buy parts to make more stuff. I have to buy welders and things like that to be able to make the parts and upgrade machines as I see the need. I dont waste any money, in fact I dont even have a vehicle that I drive, my wife brings me to work. I spent 1500 on an old suburban on june 1st and it got stolen the same day, so instead of spending more money im waiting till I get closer to caught up. I tell you I dont spen money on anything.

I have yet to sell parts I couldnt deliver, whether late or not. I stand behind my parts and people always get parts or money back.

im not spending time building any oke off stuff anymore. I do one offs and prototypes on saturday. we hardly ever do anymore prototypes since we pretty much make everything now.
I make parts all day every day, production parts. we ship about 10 to 15 boxes a week and get in about 5 orders a week. so thats good I think.
most people are waiting on S-10 stuff and we had a month long period where we had no laser cut balljoint plates for those. other parts like Dakota arms are behind becuase we havent gotten to those until last week. we did the arms that we had the most orders for and then made a couple extra sets. that was toyota arms, then we move to the next thing, and we will keep on doing that until we have no backorders, although I think we will always be behind on S-10 stuff until we get alot of money in for material.
we used to build just the oldest order and that just got us farther behind. so this is how we have to do it to catch up.
