one of my neighbors is selling his 2000 BMW 528i and im not a BMW person but hes selling it cheap...17,5 cheap. these use strut suspensions, right? what alternatives to strut bags do i have when it comes to bagging it? cutting doesnt bother me and i do want bags, just not strut bags.
does 17,5 cheap mean 17,500? i hope not.
got to love how everyone on here will bag anything! that would be sweet bagging that bimmer. it will have to be a full custom set-up, as i am not aware of any bag kits for bimmers. i'm sure it will look badass when done.
the bmw's have macphearson front struts, so it will be just like bagging most any car, that has those.
The suspensions on BMW's are a bitch. Trust me, I had to replace the suspension on my exhusbands car. Good luck with Bagging it,I agree, I think it would look sweet.

the guy that works for me said he has a 2001 528i for sale, for $14,000 with 84k miles.
i agree with jey doesn't sound like the best deal
The oil pan is the lowest part of the M52 engine. (thats the internal engine code, it doesnt mean the car is an M model. In fact, M car engine codes start with S, go figure?)
It hangs a good two inches lower than anything else.
And hydros would be easier.
