head gasket blew on my 1990 22re pickup it is real messy with all that yellow milkshake ozing out from every hole. any way my question is my timing chain tensioner is real easy to push in is that supposed to be like that? and it pushes some of the oil antifreeze mix out of a hole in the back of it . should there be a seal between the tesioner and the block or just bolt it back up?

As Johnny said, you should have fluid coming from the back of it. But, you shouldn't be having the free play in the tensioner. There should be some pressure, not a lot but some pressure from the tensioner.
