another question for ya'll who cut your frame infront of the steering box to drop the bumper brackets...etc. What did you do with the stiffining rods that do to the lower control arm?! because when you cut that, and drop it 2.5" it also drops the stiffening rod.

A-ARMS!!!! but if you keep the stock arms, you can bend the strut rods so that they will bolt back to the arm.

you can bypass doing anything at all with the strut rods by simply cuttin JUST the body/core support mount from the front frame rail/horn..instead of cutting the actual frame and moving it down...just cut the factory welds off like lief said and you can lower it down on the side of the rail...then your strut rods can stay stock

well i started cutting tonite... wow what fun it is hahaha. those cabmounts are really a pain in the ass. ill post pics later this weekend.

If you stay in the little gully between the cab floor and the rocker edge, you will go straight through the boxing for the cab mounts and not hit them at all. I know its hindsight info, but maybe someone else can use it later.
