Ragtop help..

i jsut order a 40x40 who has done a ragtop...how hard is it?? and do i need to take the mazda headliner out or can i jsut cut it fromt he inside...

measure,measure & measure.. make sure it's square , mark cut lines & cut with jigsaw or sawzall... it's probably eaiser to do with headliner out so you don't mess it up.

easy, follow instructions, double check measurements. remove headliner much easier.

40x40 geeze thats huge for a mazda roof.

I'm still up in the air on installing mine, I have a 36x20 SBC canvas rag, but lately have been thinking vert.... Mazdas look great either way.

shit 35x40 was big in my mazda. but 40x40 would be pimp.
take the headliner out. the mazda headliner has the metal rods from side to side. so you remove it and will have to make a new one when finished.
